Andrew L. Choi

Hello! I'm Andrew L. Choi, a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at University College London, School of Management. I am currently on the job market for assistant professor positions.

My research examines how individuals navigate organizations and networks in their pursuit of greater personal attainment (e.g., social mobility, social status). In my primary line of research, I examine the ways individual characteristics such as social class and gender shape social networks, and how social networks consequently shape downstream consequences (e.g., employment outcomes).  In my secondary line of research, I examine how individuals understand and perceive their social networks, and how they perceive themselves in relation to others in their networks.
